Not-so-polish related

This isn't particularly polish related - but since all of us indie polish makers are largely relying on online platforms and social media to connect with our customer base, I thought this was an important infographic to explore how social media and online communications and shopping will affect our future.

The Future of the Social Customer

After reading those facts, do you feel any differently about social media, connecting to indie polish, or shopping online?

Thanks,
Anastasia

  1. I get most of my polish online. I spend way too much on it. I always look for bloggers who have used a brand of polish and read reviews first. I also check the customer ratings on Etsy. If someone has sold 300 items and they have only 50 feed backs, I figure it is a case of if you don't have anything nice to say... I found your polish from a blogger who liked it. I really do buy because of the reviews. I just today found you had a blog when I went to facebook to see when you were planing on restocking. I don't use facebook really for anything other than checking on polish sites. Sorry Friends.

  2. I also get most of my polish on-line, and I too look up reviews online before buying. If a blogger I trust has something good to say about it I def check it out. Feedbacks on Etsy also make a huge difference. I don't have a facebook account, so I cannot relate to that portion of the diagram.
