Now that I have found and ordered a substantial amount of
base, I feel comfortable (see also: very excited!) announcing the names and
some descriptions from the Summer Lovin’ collection. If you haven’t figured it out, I absolutely
ADORE the movie Grease and figured that it would be the perfect theme for a
summer collection. The collection will
consist of 13 new polishes – ranging from glitter topcoats to flakies to
jellies and more, even a linear holo!
Without further ado, the final polish names from the
collection are:
Summer Lovin’, Pink Lady, T-Birds, Grease Lightning, Rydell
Forever, Beauty School Dropout, Rockin’ and Rollin’, Sandra Dee, Peachy Keen
Jellybean, Marty Maraschino Cherry, Dingleberries on Parade, The One that I
Want, and Blue Mooning.
So many creative possibilities are presented with those
names; luckily I also have some teaser pictures to share with you all.
Rydell Forever is based on the school colors from the
students’ high school, Rydell High. It
consists of red and white medium hex and bar glitters in a clear base.
Grease Lightning contains silver holographic glitters in all
shapes and sizes: hexes, diamonds, squares, and teeny tiny bars/tinsel.
Dingleberries on Parade is a multicolor flakie topcoat! Over
darker colors, the flaky colors can range from blue to yellow to red and
everywhere in between. Over light
colors, the flakies appear delicate and iridescent.
Peachy Keen, Jellybean is a bright, gorgeous pink base with
a strong linear holo! This color truly speaks for itself.
