Mattes & Music Collection

Hey everyone!

So after receiving such positive feedback about Jewel of the Nile, Hell on Heels, and now Pink Lady - I have decided to release a collection consisting entirely of matte glitter topcoats!  The collection consists of 6 varied polishes with one thing in common: every polish contains matte/neon glitter as the main ingredient.

Not only is it very exciting to release an all-matte-glitter collection, but it is the first time I will be accepting pre-orders for the full collection before I release the individual polishes on Etsy.  I will include all of the pre-order information in a separate post.

Now, here are the pictures you've all been waiting for!

Pretty in Punk: micro blue and small pink hexes with medium purple and black hex glitters

Vegas Skies: neon/matte fine glitters in orange, purple, and green

Particle Man: irregular white hex glitters with micro green, pink, and blue suspended in a sheer lime green jelly base

Butterfly Kisses: inspired by my dad, fine and medium pink hexes with holographic butterfly glitters

Nerd Alert: micro orange and blue glitter with medium matte blue hexes

Do Wah Diddy: salmon pink and light blue small hexes with extra fine lavender glitter in a clear base

May 20th Restock Information

Now that I’ve given you all some time to plan which of the Summer Lovin’ colors you love the most, I figured I should post a list of what will be going in the Etsy shop when I reopen.

This restock will include the following:

• Jewel of the Nile, Peacocky, Serengeti Midnight, and Ocelota Spots
• Cracked Black Ice and Fractured Glass
• Shattered Silver and Ripped (new shard colors!)
• Plus, All Summer Lovin’ colors!

Perfect Passion Fruit and Hell on Heels will be restocked when I announce and add my neon/matte glitter collection sometime next week.

PLEASE NOTE:

The restock date and time is now finalized for Sunday May 20^th at 5:00pm EST. 

If you happen to miss any polishes – please refrain from requesting a custom listing.  I just had to order more bottles, so there will be more of everything when I get those in!  Please don’t fret.  I know how crazy Etsy restocks can get and I will do my best to keep all "in demand" colors available on a regular basis.

Summer Lovin' Collection!

Hey there!  Today I finally finished bottling the first round of Summer Lovin' stock.  Then I spent a few hours swatching, taking pictures, and editing.  I'm so excited to show you the collection before I open shop again.  A few colors/names didn't work out or were replaced with some new ideas - but I think you'll all love the end result.  Which polish are you most excited for?

This isn't particularly polish related - but since all of us indie polish makers are largely relying on online platforms and social media to connect with our customer base, I thought this was an important infographic to explore how social media and online communications and shopping will affect our future.

Coming Soon: Summer Lovin'

Now that I have found and ordered a substantial amount of base, I feel comfortable (see also: very excited!) announcing the names and some descriptions from the Summer Lovin’ collection.  If you haven’t figured it out, I absolutely ADORE the movie Grease and figured that it would be the perfect theme for a summer collection.  The collection will consist of 13 new polishes – ranging from glitter topcoats to flakies to jellies and more, even a linear holo!

Without further ado, the final polish names from the collection are:

Summer Lovin’, Pink Lady, T-Birds, Grease Lightning, Rydell Forever, Beauty School Dropout, Rockin’ and Rollin’, Sandra Dee, Peachy Keen Jellybean, Marty Maraschino Cherry, Dingleberries on Parade, The One that I Want, and Blue Mooning.

So many creative possibilities are presented with those names; luckily I also have some teaser pictures to share with you all.

Rydell Forever is based on the school colors from the students’ high school, Rydell High.  It consists of red and white medium hex and bar glitters in a clear base.

Grease Lightning contains silver holographic glitters in all shapes and sizes: hexes, diamonds, squares, and teeny tiny bars/tinsel.

Dingleberries on Parade is a multicolor flakie topcoat! Over darker colors, the flaky colors can range from blue to yellow to red and everywhere in between.  Over light colors, the flakies appear delicate and iridescent.

Peachy Keen, Jellybean is a bright, gorgeous pink base with a strong linear holo! This color truly speaks for itself.

Welcome to Lac Attack nail lacquer!

My polishes are all handmade and unique creations. They are all three free and cruelty free.
